God Remains

Therefore, since it is by God’s mercy that we are engaged in this ministry, we do not lose heart.
- 2 Corinthians 4:1, NRSV

The world around us changes faster than seems possible at times. We are here, just about to turn into the fall season. In a couple of days, it will be Thanksgiving, and a couple more, it will be Christmas. I’m sorry for adding stress to your reading this. We face uncertainty, and we have questions, sometimes even doubts.

Be reminded of this: God is real, God created you and those you love, God cares deeply for you and wants you to know that. God will neither abandon us or forget about our concerns. When the wind pushes us this way and that, God remains. No matter our health, wealth, or relationship status - God remains.

The Lord is our Shepherd - and he will lead us. Let’s gather for worship and fellowship - being strengthened and encouraged. Let’s grow in our faith - becoming more confident in Christ, more aware of God’s presence.  Let’s serve, with hands, with feet, with glad hearts, with prayer. And always let us share what a difference our faith has made... the difference your faith has made.

Peace to you this day,

Pastor Cathy
