Looking back at our 2026 Lenten Dinners

This Lent Fish Fry season has been a true time of renewal - a time for fellowship and a time to work side by side with those we worship with, maybe even someone we have never really met before. For seven weeks, friendships may be renewed or even find new growth with new faces and new ideas.

We have shared hospitality with the community and shown the love of Christ in our words, our actions, and even our smiles. It has also been a time of reflection - thinking about years past - the many people who have served, and the many people we have served. We remember the words of a child who told a server, “I’m happy and full in my belly.”

This year, we also added prayer cards on each table so guests could share any prayer requests they might have. These are passed along to our prayer team and prayer chain. It is truly a blessing to serve our community in this way.

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered - whether for one week or all seven weeks. An equally big thank you to everyone who came to dine in or take out a delicious dinner.
