The Magi set out expecting a king and instead discovered a child in a humble home—and they worshiped anyway. As we enter the season of Epiphany, their journey challenges us to seek Jesus without trying to control the outcome, to follow where God leads even when it defies our expectations, and to recognize that true revelation often comes in surprising and ordinary places.

The angel’s words to Mary tell us who He truly is - the King who enters our mess with hope, steadiness, and love that never ends.
