House of David Bible Study

Join us Thursdays, 11 AM or 7 PM, beginning July 17 in Connection Room 1

House of David is a series about the biblical King David of Israel. Very similar in tone and style to The Chosen series, it offers a representation of the movement of God through this important hero of scripture.

Each week we'll watch episodes and study the associated scripture passages as we explore what they teach us about our contemporary faith walk.

Help Provide Dinner for Lockport Cares

Lockport Cares is looking for volunteers to provide prepared dinners for their meal ministry, which operates seven days a week. If you'd like to help, please visit lockportcares.org to sign up for a specific day or days. The number of guests varies daily, typically between 6 and 12 people, so be sure to check the day of or the day before to confirm how many meals are needed. Meals must be delivered directly to Lockport Cares, not to the church.

Thank you for supporting this important ministry!

Support the Pendleton Food Pantry

Donations Always Welcome!

The need in our community never takes a break—and neither does the Pendleton Food Pantry. We are always accepting donations to help support local individuals and families facing food insecurity.

You can place your non-perishable food items in the collection bin located in the Fellowship Hall food collection area. Every item donated helps restock the shelves and feeds a neighbor in need.

Not sure what to bring? Canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, and peanut butter are always appreciated.

Thank you for giving!

Sponsor A Sunday Morning Coffee Hour

Each week between services, our Coffee Hour offers more than just treats - it’s also a space for spending time together. We're inviting PCUMC families and ministry teams to help keep this tradition going by sponsoring a Sunday. Pick one Sunday (or more!) to make coffee and provide a few treats. Sign up sheets are available in the back of the sanctuary. Thank you for helping us create a warm, welcoming space each week!

Coffee Hour Team Help Needed

Do you have a gift for hospitality? Does seeing people happy make you happy? The 10:00 hour on Sunday is an important time of fellowship for our church. We are looking for some people to help coordinate this time. These folks will work to ensure that we have a schedule of people willing to provide refreshments and make sure there are enough supplies for everyone.

Thursday Night Dinners in the Summer!

Thursdays, 5:00 PM, First UMC, 8210 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls

Isn’t it wonderful that the warmer weather has finally arrived! We always need the usual supplies: yellow and chocolate cake mixes, brownie mixes, elbow pasta, mayonnaise, eggs, boneless chicken (breast or thighs), and ground beef. If it’s easier, please consider making a financial donation to help us out! We buy in bulk and use a tax exemption to stretch those funds far!

We are also calling on all you gardeners out there to consider the Thursday Night Dinner if you have any fruits or vegetables that we could use in our meals. If you find yourself with too many zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers, or anything else that you think we could use, let’s make sure nothing goes to waste! We love to incorporate fresh items whenever we can for everyone’s benefit!
