A Christmas Message From Pastor Tom

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. -Isaiah 9

In the midst of our busy lives, decorating, gift buying, and dinner making, God is born to us. A Wonderful Counselor bursts into our lives to help us keep things in perspective. When we worry about bills, what to wear, and if we have planned all that needs to be planned, we experience a Mighty God who makes things out of nothing. In the middle of parties, playing, and even worshipping we are reminded we have an Everlasting Father who cares for us. When Christmas almost seems like chaos and struggle and we even sometimes wish it might go away, the Prince of Peace enters our hearts. We remember Jesus is in the season and in our lives, and life is good.
