PCUMC 175 Year Anniversary

Celebrating 175 Years of Pendleton Center!

Homecoming Celebration Weekend on April 18-19

2026 is a big year in the life of Pendleton Center UMC as we celebrate 175 years of ministry!
Our celebration of Real Love and Real Hope will include several special events and opportunities to serve.

PCUMC 175th Anniversary Dinner

Saturday, April 18, 7:00 PM
Purchase tickets here

This year marks the 175th anniversary of the founding of our congregation. This is a cause for great celebration. It is a blessing to be where we are today, still spreading real love and hope to our community through our devotion to Christ.

On Saturday April 18, we will be having a catered dinner at the church to have the chance to join in fellowship with each other. Whether new or old, near or far - if PCUMC is a part of your story, you are invited to join us for this commemorative meal.

In addition to our time of fellowship, the program will feature a brief program that will relive and celebrate the story of our journey as a church family.

Special Worship Service

Sunday, April 19, 9:00 AM

On Sunday, April 19, we will have a special celebratory worship service and coffee hour afterward. Bishop Héctor Burgos-Núñez will be in attendance at this service.

There will be no Holy Grounds Café service this Sunday.

Anniversary T-shirts, Hoodies, & Tumblers

Special Anniversary merchandise is available for purchase to support the ministries of the church. Each item features the 175 Years artwork displayed at the top of this page.

T-Shirts are available now for $20 each at the church, either after service or in the office during the week.

Hoodies must be pre-ordered. You can place a paper order at church or order online here. Hoodies are $45 each.

Tumblers will soon be available for purchase at the church for $20 each.

Commemorative Quilt

As part of our 175th Anniversary celebration, we are creating a commemorative quilt to honor members of our church family. If you would be willing to help make the quilt, please contact Carol Dombrowski.

Anniversary Mission Drive

Although we want to rejoice together during this time, we want to remember that we are blessed to be a blessing. To honor this, we will be having a mission drive that is designed to give back to the community. We will be asking members to donate $175 to support a ministry, as well as give 17.5 hours of service to a ministry. It is important that we remember to be the hands and feet of Christ during this time of celebration.

We’ll be kicking off this drive during our anniversary weekend.
